oh that was crunchy! i had to pause while my brain figured out some answers, and then return to fill in the missing bits ~ the southeast corner troubled me, but i persevered as my beloved father always said, "struggle in adversity, finish in style" happy friday, everyone ~ make good choices!

loved my aha moment! agree it was a little difficult to see the squares where they were colored, but that was a small thing compared to the delight of this puzzle happy sunday, everyone!

ooooh, so chewy! i really liked it a lot! i started off thinking, "oh no, this is tough, ack i really don’t want to have to look something up" and then, with the promise of a afternoon nap if i finished within a certain time, i made my brain work extra hard and finished with great satisfaction happy saturday, everyone!

fun fun fun!!! what a great puzzle, so clever, so satisfying! happy thursday, everyone!

i did enjoy the puzzle, and the theme was amusing ~ a couple of crunchy parts that brought a smile when i figured them out working this puzzle briefly took me out of my deep pain resulting from the current administration’s disregard for human and civil rights and the appalling murders of innocent americans after the 45 minutes it took me to solve, i’m back in the despair, and wondering how we will survive how will we get through this ~

ooooh, that was a challenge for me! and it took a very long time for me to solve, more than usual, plus at the end, there was a mistake somewhere and i finally saw that is was ROMA and not ROME have a great friday everyone!

i struggled, i was not happy ~ i don’t blame the constructor i like tough puzzles if they result in some delight at the solve, but i never got there ~ i don’t think HEXER is a word, and STATELEVEL is a stretch and today i learned, thanks to “austenite is a non-magnetic face-centered cubic structure phase of iron that forms in iron-carbon alloys above a certain temperature.” still, i persisted hope your saturdays were wonderful ~ see you sunday!

could have been the cat limiting my range of motion, but it took me longer than i expect for a tuesday puzzle happy tuesday, everyone!

welp, it scrambled my brain and it was more work than usual for me ~ ~ plus taking much longer to solve, even after i got the up and down trick a couple of mild amusements along the way ~ 13D ETOILES for prima ballerinas was sweet and 43A EURO for capital on the mediterranean made me say “d’oh!” having finished wednesday night is like getting out of school early happy thursday, everyone!
