Monday puzzles are delightfully easy and i almost always crush them but it still amazes me that someone is able to create these things. kudos to all the xword constructors out there 🏆

don’t wanna jinx it but i’ve been on a roll this week. finished this one w zero googles and beat my average by 20 minutes!! 👏👏👏👏 fun!
i thought it was just me but i guess lots of people the this was tough for a Tuesday 🤷🏻 got it done, just a little slower than average.
fun! “righty tighty, lefty loosey” rarely helps me since, even at my age, i cannot tell right from left 🙃 also, we have some crank windows they work the opposite way, so i came up with my own mnemonic: “‘c’ to close” because of the way one draws the letter c.
omg so much more fun than yesterday! i must admit i was hung up in the NE corner, mostly bc of nachoDIP so i had to google 22A. it all came together after that. happy Sunday, everyone!
pretty easy for a Wednesday but i’m not complaining especially since i biffed my Wordle streak today 😭

wow, the most clever puzzle i’ve seen in a long time!! and a debut?? kudos 🙌🙌! my first pass had me feeling pretty dumb but once i got to the revealer, it clicked. beat my average by two minutes 🎉
pretty fun!! kinda bummed i got a C since i beat my average by 8 mins (also i’m currently a college student w a 3.95 GPA so, kind of an overachiever 😅) but i guess everyone received the same grade lol. have a great week everyone!

lovely tribute, Deb. my condolences 💛 this is my favorite kind of puzzle, one that seems tough, maybe even undoable on the first pass but after a few passes it all falls into place :)

not sure why so many folks absolutely hated this. i’m not Gen Z nor a trivia expert but i was able to solve this one w only one look up (51D), which i never would have gotten on my own 🤷🏻 filing “Korea’s national drink in my memory bank for next time.

my first pass was abysmal but after a little break i was able to finish with only one google (13A). FYI i knew MAPLELEAFLOUNGE thanks to Tig Notaro’s very funny new stand-up special on Prime 🙌🙌
what a great puzzle! i almost felt beaten by it when after the first pass the top half was mostly empty but i kept my brain wheels turning and it all fell into place. even beat my Friday average by 5:48 🙌🙌! loved the cluing on this one. have a great weekend, all 🌼

the color overlays did make it a little harder for me to see (i solve on my iPad) but i beat my average by 20 minutes so i’m not complaining

the past couple of weeks i’ve really been in sync w the puzzles. today, not so much. this one was hard for me. i even took a long break hoping it would click, but in the end had to do three googles. better luck next time!
