@Lewis thank you! Even if I am not a great solver, I enjoy learning new things that some dismiss as « trivia » . If I get curious, I look them up and sometimes get down fascinating rabbit holes. I admit it doesn’t really help me get that much better at solving yet? English is not my first language so it might be why? I might have succeeded once on my own without the buoy.
@Mike Dew they know how good your puns are though? Even if it’s a bit past 7up here in Canada, they give me pepsi? So thanks, you crush it!
@James well i got it and I’m not that good so… sorry for you
@Lauren all the films are very well known.
@Mike you guys have me in stitches! 🤣
What on earth is a SHOWER BEER and what have I been missing?!?
Let’s get ready for complaints about the puzzle being too easy! I beat my record by 40 minutes.
@Bill ooo I need to visit Detroit! - A Montrealer
I had a hard time with this one. First I thought the rebus were chemical symbols… that didn’t work, then I just kept going without some letters… then I gave up and used the clue feature. Still didn’t get it. Very clever, too much for moi!
@Alex it’s funny, I like the little surprises like this that come out of solving the other answers. Makes me chuckle. Like the blue stop sign. (Pineapple)
I’m so happy, first time I completed without the hints!
@Kenny you and I both. It doesn’t matter at all, fun comes in all speeds.
@Darcey O’D that was so well put
@Francis Of course we will! Come to Montreal!
@Charles Peterson I second that. Some people just don’t try.
ugh i had DEETS for the longest time. was thinking in legal context, details are crucial.
@Sam Corbin wow and I thought it was when a baby presents themselves from the arm during delivery! 😂
@Alexia I just read it as an innocent lie from a kid …
@Hitch um I got it and I am Canadian
@Jane Wheelaghan did you enjoy it though? I am no senior and got a good chuckle about many clues! I thought cream soda had gone out of fashion actually because my dad’s dad used to drink it. Might be the sweetest soda of them all…
@Dan was it not SOLDLIKEHOTCAKES ?
@jerome higgins read the column? it’s crystal clear
@D and the whiners with big egos who don’t accept not getting something are equally swarming the comments
@Mike hahahaha so cute and clever!
100 bones = c spot? Please explain?
@Mark 100 bones I get it’s the spot I didn’t. I’m not an English speaker, must be why!
@Vivian it doesn’t take much! 😂 Imagine living in Iran…
@Fact Boy yet in France, they can can can…
@Rahul definitely was harder but fun too
@Matt I don’t think this analysis of good vs bad obscure is very objective!
@HeathieJ you made me laugh! cheers!
@Laura ooo! new thing to try!
@Nancy J. maybe she has issues… seems like strange behaviour. Maybe she doesn’t even look at replies…
@Mike wow you must be a dad! If not, you are definitely ready to be one! 😂
@Mental State It was a fun foray into American history. Nothing wrong with that! I am Canadian and was able to finish with a few Google searches.
