The puzzle was fun, thanks. The US elections, not so much. :(
Some say “easy,” some say “hard.” Not easy for me (51 minutes) but I managed a gold star. I don’t know how some of you just race through these puzzles. :-)
Clever and enjoyable! Merci!
Brilliant and educational puzzle! But I’m left wondering - can the following “true answers” work within logical arguments? : 1. “Que Sera, Sera” 2. 42 Thanks :-)
C ?? No dark sarcasm in the classroom! 😀 Fun puzzle. I had to cheat to finish it so maybe a C- for me. Thanks! 🇫🇷
Fun puzzle! Finished with no cheating too. Kudos to the constructors!, thanks
I got about 2/3 through before I gave up and had to cheat. Sometimes I complete Fridays but c’est la vie.
Ouch. It's not unusual for me to cheat - but I started early on this one :-)
Clever ! I managed to get « EXIT » but due to dumb luck. I entered « X » because it seemed to be the only letter that’s kind of Four Square’ish. Once you get the X, « EXIT » just follows. Well done, merci!
Brilliant puzzle! I got stuck on a couple answers and gave up too soon. So I gave myself a « dope slap »; wish I had persevered!
Fun, thanks! And, my first gold star in ages!
Very creative and fun puzzle, thanks! - but I’ll still pass on the raw fish :-)
Jarring. Clever idea though; glad some of you enjoyed it.
@Julia My wavelength as well. Fun clues!
Cute puzzle and very enjoyable, thanks :-). I only got caught up in one letter regarding RNA and Perseus. Almost a gold star pour moi, Merci! :)
Fun, thanks! :-). Couldn’t quite finish without a bit of « help » but that’s not too unusual :-)
This was fun! :-). Thanks, Earthling…or ?
@Sonja Billions and billions of pleasures :-)
@Andrzej Most memorable for me: City Hall and the sculpture park (don’t recall the name of it but it’s cool!). But all of Oslo is great!, enjoy! Dress warm and expect very short days. If you get great Northern Lights displays we’ll be jealous! :-)
@ExpatByChoice Not much nicer further south either. Tempete!
@Steve L “KIL” - sorry, that’s just wrong. The clue referred to Le Mans. American dictionaries are clueless. Especially dictionary.com.
Cute! I gave myself a good dope slap when I finally cheated Very clever, thanks! :-)
@Ant Not only don’t I know the brands mentioned, I’m also mystified by “natick.” Maybe just me?
@Mar in PA Yep, he definitely deserved a big tip! “42” - what can I say! You go in there for perhaps a margara or taco - and he happens to give you the answer to everything in the universe! We need more big thinkers in the world these days, lol. :-)
@Mr Dave. Natick Rebus? I’m lost.
@Ιασων. Strike? What strike? Should we be picketing? Am I a scab?
Got a gold star! Happens to me maybe twice a year on Saturday puzzles (when I dare to attempt them). Thanks for having occasional mercy on the puzzle-challenged amongst us!
