Nope. Just nope
@David Meyers I don’t care how clever it is. My eyes are burning, and my head hurts. This is almost impossible to read. Hate it
@Sylvie yes. Insensitive and reeking of colonialism
Loved being a Girl Scout, and then a GS leader for my girls. Great organization. Thanks, Juliana, for your work with cookies
@David Ramos make me one with everything
@Barry Ancona I’ve noted a fair number of Yiddish words in the NYT crossword over the years. I don’t speak Yiddish, but I grew up in NY, so I can hold my own. I wonder how the out of towners do?
@John. Agree. Not worth my time. I’m getting more and more tired of these cutesy puzzles
@Julia thank you! I abhor wasting my time trying to figure out something the editors should have caught. Quite frustrating. Why put the puzzle in the app if it can’t be solved there?
Every time we get one of these overworked puzzles I reconsider my subscription
As a speech language pathologist and college professor for 42 years, I never once heard a lisp referred to as a SIGMATISM. Not buying it, even after I got it on the crosses.
@H.T.S.agree. I find them quite dreary. I usually skip them entirely
Once again, too “twee” for my taste. Not worth my time to figure out all the twists and turns. Rethinking my subscription
Another advantage to SILENT DISCO(S) is participants are not subject to too-loud music that causes hearing loss
@LarryF absolutely. Quilting bees are social events, but with the goal of producing a beautiful and useful product
@Randolph 74A: a word to the YY (wise)
@Nom De Plume yes! Went to bed, and it still wasn’t up
