Nice Thursday puzzle! Can't think that any NYT puzzle solver doesn't know about the NATO alphabet, as there are frequent NATO alphabet clues every year!
Lol, had to come here to figure out the dang theme, thought it was the easiest Wednesday puzzle ever until the theme eluded me! Nicely done puzzle.
A lovely puzzle, perfect for a snowy Sunday in Kansas. My favorite answer was "nerfed". Thank you, Mr. Ayas!
Love the theme! Original trekkie here, once met Gene Roddenberry. Excellent and fun Sunday puzzle. Thank you, Mr. Newton!

Excellent Saturday puzzle! I happened to watch a PBS documentary on Arthur Conan Doyle last night, which helped with two of the long clues. Lucky. Thank you, Mr. Berriman!
Very clever theme! Thank you, Mr. Coulter.

@Alyson We used to have a cheer when I was in engineering school, cheering for my team (the Betas): Tangent, Secant, Cosine, Sine 3.14159 Go, Betas! Hit 'em with a Log! Am rather unclear why we were the Betas, not the Alphas. . .
Excellent Thursday puzzle. Thank you, Mr. Deshong!
Excellent Thursday puzzle, which at first, after solving the revealer, I thought was way too easy for a Thursday. Then the clues turned tricky! Thank you, Mr. Neuthaler!
@Matt Kopans Was Deja not adopted? (Which emphasizes your point even more?)
Nice Thursday puzzle. Thank you.
Lol, this puzzle was almost as annoying as the concept that it was portraying. Nice April Fools day puzzle!
What an excellent Sunday puzzle! Ms. Lovinger, our solves and discoveries were identical. Thank you, Mr. Seigel.
Lol, thanks for the picture today. I was having profound difficulties in the bottom right corner, looked down, and who did I see? Snoopy!
Fun solve. FYI, NYT, Randall's oldest daughter was DEJA, not TESS, at least in the latter seasons. Lol, had no idea that Jamie Lee Curtis was a SCREAMQUEEN, I always remember her in A Fish Called Wanda. Thanks for a great Saturday puzzle!
Exceptional, perfectly timed and whimsical Thursday puzzle. Thank you, Mr. Martinovic!
Lol. Thanks for the earworms, NYT.
@Marshall Walthew I miss the acrostic, it was my favorite puzzle! Could you share how you get access?
@John 8-1-1 is a team's scores, as in wins-losses-ties
My Lab, Maggie, says "BowWow! Excellent Thursday puzzle, Mr. Higgens!"
Excellent Saturday puzzle. Did anyone else's puzzle page say Friday, Sept 20 for this puzzle?
