I feel like we broke an important rule with this one.

I don't have anything nice to say about this one, sorry. Misspelling "Shiva" and grammatically butchering "I've been had" were particularly egregious, and there were some other real head scratchers (and not in the good way). Clever gimmick, but even with the hint I failed to get it.

I'd just like to point out that "leftist" does not necessarily mean "liberal-leaning". In general, "leftist" refers to ideologies of the persuasion many Americans would call "far-left" (socialism, anarchism, etc.). In today's political climate, where leftist ideas are gaining more and more traction, this is an especially important distinction to make.

21A/D was...a bit out there. Otherwise, some pretty clever hints.

Byron needs to be thwapped on the head for "Boardies". Who on earth would figure that one out, besides people already familiar with the brand?

72 across was far too rich for my blood. A real deep cut on 91a as well. Doing two gimmicks at the same time is ambitious, but didn't seem to pan out here as well as it could have. The 007 bit is done and shoved out of the way fairly quickly, and the unrelated puns, while cute, maybe could have been saved for a puzzle more focused on them. Overall, generally decent puzzle!
