The comments on here always feel like people want to be so blindly positive they give no real criticism. This was a really bad puzzle because of how there was no hint there was even a theme to be cracked, especially since 15D looks actually solvable with "Why The Long Face", I had no reason to assume to do something silly for it until I cracked from how 4D was making no sense and I came here. The theme could have been cute but since there was nothing to indicate it was there it was just a very frustrating puzzle for a Wednesday
Yaaaaaaas I solved it without needing to check the answer key or the Wordplay for once!
When I got to 17A I thought the theme would be trying so hard to be funny it'd be stupid and annoying to solve. Was at least pleased to be proven right I guess.
Aaaay did it without Wikipedia or any clues from the Column in under 20 minutes!
Yaaaas I figured out what the theme was before even getting to the revealer and got my best Thursday score to date!
Almost a good puzzle. I liked the theme but some of the answers like 61A, 53A and especially the spelling of 37D felt like really sticking a square peg into a round hole, which is surprising considering how well the switching parts worked. Like for real, no one has ever spelt it "O MI GOSH"
The best answer was "HURL" b/c that's what I wanted to do to my computer trying to solve this stinker, hohoho
The theme was cute but the answers for it had to be so long it became a real stretch. Still a fun puzzle
I didn't like this at all. Too many proper nouns but also weirdly simplistic clues that stumped me for how obvious they were like 17A and 42A. Not a good Monday
Aren't puzzles like this at least supposed to try and be clever and have it so the new words made make sense?
After like a half hour I aced and came to this to get some aid, but honestly after looking at the Tricky Clues I think I'm just done. This puzzle ain't it

Brilliant. I did the first sweep of acrosses, got to 57A and figured it'd take a while to figure out. Then after looking I took a good look at the shape of the puzzle and it hit me. Loved this one. 18A, 10A and 6D also got a laugh
I don't mind Googling answers for proper questions, or going to hints in the column, but coming here and seeing an answer is SQUIRCLE. Yeah I can just stop for the day I think
I really like puzzles like this that use the grid to illustrate a clue
So the theme is that the answer doesn't make sense? Gotcha.

Fine puzzle but column honestly wasn't very helpful with clues. Too many clues from the (already relatively easy) NE corner and the recipe in 37A reminds me of how online recipes just babble about the author's backstory for too long. Maybe somewhere out there there's someone's blog about their family history but every entry they wax on about crosswords for too long to complete the chain.
I got a chuckle when I was reading out the theme and got to "Hold the MAYO" lmao

Nice! I liked this one, almost got it without any help but had no idea what 15A was, and thought 4 down was "SO AMPEDED" lol
I appreciate when the Wordplay immediately says there's a Rebus so I know to skip. Stinks it's on a Wednesday tho

Good puzzle but MAINDRAG was a pretty big stretch for the clue
Okay puzzle but 1A and 28D really tripped me up in a not fun way when I finally had to cave and check the key

Decent puzzle. Have absolutely no clue what the theme was but the rest was good enough I was able to solve without it
Fine puzzle for a Tuesday but 16A really felt like it had nothing to do with the theme.
This was like so close to being a great puzzle but really bad answers like HEP and the way overuse of proper nouns killed it for me. Disappointing waste of a great theme
