Now THIS is a Thursday. How the hell did I figure this in out? And how the hell do you construct a puzzle like this? I beat my average, but during my first look through I thought it would take ages. Bravo to Jesse Goldberg!
This was WAY too easy. Of course, I’m fluent in Flemish, Croatian and Latvian.
Such a good one! Perfect Wednesday. Also, I’ve got one: Breaking news from the birdhouse? COOPSCOOP
Such a good puzzle! Such great cluing, such great fill.
I can’t agree with the commenters saying this was too hard. It posed a nice challenge, without any naticks that couldn’t be solved through crosses. Took me ten minutes to swap S for Z in INEZ though, the cluing for ZTILE could have been a little bit kinder.
Only 6 seconds away from beating my Friday best. Drat. But what a great puzzle!Very nice answers all throughout, though maybe the clues were a bit easy? Oh, and the link to this article from the app is broken.
That’s not a star, that’s an asterisk. And B, or n, aren’t words.
Great puzzle, great theme, but I think this one could have benefited from trickier cluing.
Such a great puzzle! Not a single unreasonable answer, wonderful cluing. Especially liked DEARGOD and OHLORD.
Such a good puzzle today. Great cluing, great entries, and though I'm usually not a fan of the "?" clues, these felt just right.
Very easy, and very lively entries. My only gripes are the crossing of soju and jete, and the crossing of plebe, eden and best, all of which I think could have been clued in a kinder way.
Not as hard as usual, very well made nonetheless! Enjoyed GALA and FETE each being clued with one word that could mesn many things. No gimmes there!
Crossing OUTKAST with STANK was a highpoint for me! Otherwise a great puzzle.
Last letter I entered was the F in TGIF, and that solved the puzzle! A great puzzle, and a great start to my F!
Fantastic puzzle, but maybe not a Thursday, rather a Tuesday or Wednesday?
I very much enjoyed this puzzle, and though it is no fault of the entries, the cluing is too easy. I agree with others who feel that the Friday puzzle should be something you can dig your teeth into.
@Cat Lady Margaret Hallmark offered to produce Christopher Nolan’s new movie. He disagreed with their vision for the project.
I’ll be the first to say that I loved this puzzle! But not the first to say that it was very easy. I got it in less than 6 minutes to beat my previous Thursday best by a whole minute. Which I never thought would happen.
@Cat Lady Margaret They all, technically, have lots of characters.
@Ron It is a palindrome, without the spaces and commas.
