I don't think I have ever teared up after finishing a crossword, but I was deeply touched by what both Deb Amlen and Mr. Chalfin wrote on this wintry morning. Thank you both. I hope you stay well and safe.

Love a nice cup of tea in the afternoon. Brings back good memories of my lovely mother and the comfort of a small pot of tea with pretty porcelain cups or mugs (with milk and a little sugar), her delightfully silly sense of humor and a little bit time we spent together sharing a "cuppa". Nice crossword. Thank you.

Kind of wish Alan Turing's brilliance wasn't associated with anything the techbros ever touch. Just a snarky observation on a grayish Saturday in May. Good crossword, though.

Evidently I've been "Adulting" for quite some time and hadn't ever referred to my child (ren) as behaving like a "Threeager". "Rentroll" sounds like something a Scooby-doo character might have mumbled? Might enjoy some Aloo Gobi for dinner tonight, though. Great idea!

Couldn't figure out why 37d wasn't 'eve' except the answer to 42a would've been incorrect. Laughed when I started to wondered about NYE... as in, Bill...? Oh, my.

Fun crossword and entertaining. Just a small comment about "race" vs. "species" as part of the general lexicon. Humans are a species, like dinosaurs, whales, cats and dogs. But "race" is, and was, a divisive and damaging social construct with no biological basis and no purpose other than harm.
