My deepest sympathies on the loss of your Dad. What a heartfelt tribute. I can relate as I lost my Dad at the age of 92 a few years ago. I enjoy your column and insights immensely, as Thursday puzzles always present a challenge. Your self -deprecating humor and wit shine through as you lead us to the solution.

Although I follow your system of solving, the LAST letter I put in was the M in sam. I guess we have totally different wheelhouses.

I REALLY enjoyed this !! It was difficult (over 20 minutes solve time) but it really held my interest. After the revealer, all I could think of was Snoopy.

You will be deeply missed here, but God Bless You and enjoy retirement !
