@Jessica Ann so much was US specific here. Even down to me scratching my head as to why LON made sense at all: pronounced differently to “lawn” here. Indiana who?? Arizona what? Australians never say COUNTS NOSES. A tough day for us internationals in Connections too with brands I didn’t recognise. I get it’s NYT and I’ve got a library of US terms, tribes and sports teams built up over the years but when they cross each other (SE corner) it becomes a painful slog. Anyway, there’s always tomorrow!
Fast solve and lots of fun! Unrelated but question — is the midi crossword only released for US located subscribers at the moment? I'm located in Australia, and cannot access the page at all (and it's not in my app despite making sure it's up to date!) When I tried to visit this URL, https://www.nytimes.com/crosswords/archive/midi I get the error that "This page no longer exists"
@Cathy sadly no! I do think we are region locked. It says the page does not exist. Appears Kiwi solvers are also in the same boat.
