Solid puzzle. Only took me fifteen minutes but the top half had some tricky entries. Very enjoyable solve.

In 22A, what is the second part of the clue referring to? I get the first part (that POT is a synonym for weed, or “herb”), but I’m having trouble understanding the “or a lead-in to herb” part of the clue.

Is there a reason why 21A has an asterisk in the clue or is it just a typo?

What is the context of 34D, “I MISSED”? I am a big sports guy but I feel like this is a stretch, unless I’m thinking about it wrong. Can someone explain?

Can someone explain INAHOLE, the answer to 2D? I’m not understanding the punny nature of this clue.

This was a great puzzle but there is one clue/answer I don’t understand. How is 51A “RUSE”? I know a ruse is cover or trick, but how does this relate to “Blind, to a duck”???

How is SLO the answer to 60D? Is it an abbreviation of “slow” or does it stand for something like “single lane only”? I can’t get over seeing San Luis Obispo when I look at SLO!

Nice puzzle overall. My question lies with the wording of the 8-letter theme clues… Why does 34D refer to “6-/32-Down” while 39D refers to “6-Down/32-Down”? Is there a punny reason why the former says simply “6-“ and the latter says “6-Down”? I’m just trying to figure out if I missed some pun or something or if that “typo” was intentional/unintentional…
