Bravo. When I came upon 'set' a second time in the puzzle (the answer HAD to be 'set' this time), I erased the first one I used (thanks to computer solving). When I found it for a third time, well, I went back and put it in the first 'set' again. It was fun to see 'set' show up in so many different places!!!
I spent a lot of time trying to put in both letters. Finally tried it with just one of the letters and got it. A little frustrating.
Feel better soon, Deb. Hope it's not contagious!!!
My older iPad is in light mode with show overlays on and I just saw regular lines. š. When I looked on my newer iPhone, then I could see the unusual grid lines. But I solved it anyway. Clever puzzle.
Don't know if this has been mentioned, but, as written "nipson anomimata, mi monan opsin" is not a palindrome (unless nipson or nispon is a typo).
@CG Also, I never look at i button until Iām through with the puzzle, so I wouldnāt have seen the suggestion anyway.
Cute puzzle, but I did it on my older iPad and I didnāt see the teeth only black squares. It wasnāt until my son did it and showed me the teeth on his, that I realized what Iād missed. Then the explanation made some sense.
This is the first paragraph of the notes about the puzzle. Is it supposed to be entries, maybe? Just thought Iād mention it. š āIf todayās theme entires were āWheel of Fortuneā answers, spending the necessary $250 to buy a vowel would be a guaranteed good investment, because every theme answer contains all five standard vowels.ā
