Very fun Wednesday puzzle. Theme was easy to parse out. Very much enjoyed it. I prefer octopi so that was no big deal for me. Great job.

Only after I realized I had El Capitab and not ELCAPITAN that I realized it should be NENES and not bebes. Prior to that I was sure this was the rare NYT crossword with a typo.

I don’t think I have ever seen OMIGOSH. Oh my gosh or o my gosh but not o mi gosh.

Never in my life do I recall hearing or seeing in print the word JODHPURS. Not even sure how to pronounce that.

My only complaint is WHAP. That’s a stretch for me.

Fun and easy Thursday. Only small complaint is I have never heard of MAC as another word for bud. What is that about? Not being familiar with the Asian river had me stumped.

Like many I’m not a fan of the rebus but other than that all pretty straightforward with the exception of MAGE. Tried to make save work. Then Magi. Mage is not in my vocabulary.
