Wow, a LOT of proper names, most of which were obscure to me. I enjoyed the theme, tho.

The proper nouns killed me on this one (including having Berli and not seeing Berle). Needed lookups for Allie, Ellis and Sean Paul (two of them confirmations as I hunted down my i/e error.) Overall a satisfying solve even if out of my wheelhouse.

@SP Omar Khayyam, Brendan Fraser, Kyra Phillips, Shania Twain, James Agee, Enola and Erlenmeyer were all names I had to find by getting most of the crosses. I also misspelled Aimee Mann and Alfred Neuman. Made for a tough solve for me, though I did get there.

I struggled with this one. Several proper names that were completely out of my wheelhouse, and some tough clues.

Loved the show…and still didn’t catch on to the theme, though I did solve the puzzle. Very clever.

@Justin Yes, really puzzled at why the answer key was different from the solution, with the rebuses instead of the letters that solved the down clues.

@Steve L Thanks for the reminiscence. I grew up in Rockland and went to Little Tor Elementary. Never knew what it was named after!
