This was a fun one! I didn’t get the baseball reference for TATER; rather, I interpreted the “more ways than one” in a more meta fashion, that the word POTATO had been mashed to create the answer. 🙃 Oh, well.

Brutal. I had no problems swiftly solving the rest of the puzzle, but the lock thoroughly stumped me. I wouldn’t have been able to figure it out without checking Wordplay (the “ If you’d like a more specific hint,” section did the trick).

Many congrats to our young constructor! I loved SESAME, GOSSIPER, and COTTAGECORE. What fun! I’ll admit, I’m stumped as to why the clues for BISMARCKND and NONGMOCROP didn’t indicate that an abbreviation would be involved. Anyone care to enlighten me?
