What a fun couple! And great puzzles. Did only seeing "downs" "up"set me? Not a bit.
You can please some of the solvers some of the time, but never all of the solvers all of the time.
@Patrick Ryan And relatively few rear wheel drives get traction. Ask one who knows.
I do so much admire the constructors and the work they do, but I wonder if too much thought goes to them and not enough to the solvers. Too many obsolete words have to be used. And I am one who does not hesitate to look up to finish puzzles. I feel for those who don't.
How great to see all the positives! Was so afraid I would see "too easy". Just loved it.
@Alan The last letter in snap is p
@George Krompacky I agree...very frustrating.
@Bruce Not the chewy Starbursts I like.
@Cassidy Now you know how one who lived during WWII feels when it seems to be all geared to your generation. And I've been doing the Sunday Puzzle forever and feel no shame in getting help. The quick Google answers make me realize there are lots of us.
@Liz H It was green. I remember in the 1950s being asked by a hair dresser if I was using detergent or Prell on my hair. I did not know it could still be found.
@mirle234 And mine was the dictionary tag which I finally got. But this was a great puzzle!
@Robert Paloutzian Did not enter letters in dancer boxes and did not get completed. When I entered the "t" got the complete with the other two left unfilled. ?? I use an IPad.
@BC Driving me crazy. Surprised not more are complaining????
Used Check button for first time....thanks Sam and Deb. Made it so nice to catch typos and confirm guesses.
Oops, had Mister Spock....quickly fixed.
@Mean Old Lady Oooh....Wimbledon being shown later in Denver on ABC.... Now I know.
@Amanda I just enter "Vertex" in search bar and it comes up. Don't know why its not on puzzle page.
