Wow. Cmon now that’s just cool. Bravo! Great Wednesday puzzle!

This was for me a truly gorgeous puzzle with lots of fun fill. XANADU and ANTEGGS and I learned about the SERENASLAM? Such a lovely one, Rafael.

About 24 years ago, I defended my PhD dissertation related to myosin and ACTIN. What a surprise to see this in a NYT puzzle. A nice flashback to a different era. And even further back in time: how about THEMUNCHIES while playing ATARI!

WCW! BRAVC!

Wonderful puzzle. Thanks for highlighting TARANA Burke. Based on the comment section, it clearly was needed. Happy birthday to Rasa!

How? Just…how? Sooooo impressive! Absolutely loved it. What a work of art. And I learned a new word today too.

Delightful puzzle. Rebus was IMHO a charming addition.

Perfection! The clues—so charming. The misdirects—beautifully enraging. A work of art that had my head spinning. And so glad I read Katie’s note, too, which was itself enchanting.

I feel compelled to jump in and sing its praises, what with all the negativity. What a feat of construction! Cluing was pretty straightforward, which helps with the trick. HOT#MESSES was my entry point #alltoorelatable.

I love Katie’s puzzles! This one was very fun. Brought many smiles to my face, not only for the clever misdirects but also for the memories of my kids when they were young and into Pokemon and pool noodle battles. I particularly like the combo of AREWECOOL, ITLLBEFINE, and SWEARONIT. Thanks, Katie—I needed that.

An absolutely delightful puzzle! Puns and a crossword in one go? Very fun.

Woof, a lot of grief over the SNL entry when I thought I would see more pun grumbles…pumbles? Well I’ll get up on my digital soapbox, which currently seems unnecessary, to say BAH to anyone poo-pooing puns. Puns are delightful brain tickles. Sure, they make us groan, but it’s a good-natured groan, isn’t it? Do people really get angry over puns? Anyway, SARINOTSARI! More puns, please!

This one was delightful. A return to that feeling of both brain stretch and shaking my head at the cleverness of the clues. Favorite puzzle in months. Thank you, Katie!

Wow one of my favorites! Very happy to see a Katie Hoody puzzle, and this was a delightful solve.

Such a fun theme! Smiled all the way through.

Yay! A crunchy slog! Loved it.

Bravo! Love and support 🌈❤️

Absolutely loved it! Clue for BOOTYCALLS was excellent, and any mention of the great KUROSAWA is appreciated. Challenging in spots as I hope for a Friday. Very fun!

Whoo, that was a speedy one! Now my personal best time for a Tuesday matches my PB for a Monday. But green is my favorite color, so I am all smiles.

Loved the crossed laughs and the fun misdirects. Fast solve for a Saturday but very fun!

I love roundabouts and I loved this puzzle. Nicely done!

I liked it, the clue for TOONIE was a favorite, but this is a Wednesday puzzle.

Very fun Thursday. Over my average time, so I feel like my brain stretched a bit, which is always a good thing. Thanks, Damon!

Five full minutes over my Friday average, and for that I’m grateful. Loved this one from start to finish. Perhaps a bit of a tribute with both RONALDINHO and PELE in the same grid. WEARESOBACK they must be saying given the multitudes still basking in the joy of the World Cup.

PB at 8:25, and I enjoyed it! Hey, I’m not complaining. It just flowed like a lazy river…

Now that’s a Friday puzzle! A real challenge, had to put it down and pick it back up several times. And I feel I must try this SHOWERBEER business…

Was very intimidated by the grid when I opened it but ended up flying through from the bottom up. Loved the spanners. Lovely puzzle!

Fabulous debut! I really had fun with this one. Great aha moment.

Such a clever theme! Maybe the best Monday puzzle I’ve seen.

Fast Wednesday but I did love the theme and the grid art. Clever idea!
