Very clever, and what the "fourth" letters spell out is a nice little extra!
Didn't love this one. Some of the answers seemed contorted to fit - UPPISH instead of uppity? SNOOZE ALARM instead of snooze button? And who's "marketing" a FLU STRAIN, anyway?
Clever cluing, but this was way, way too easy for a Saturday. C'mon, NYT.
This was an absolute delight! The clues were beyond clever, the answers were creative, and it was old-school-Saturday-crossword hard! Thank you!
Loved the difficulty here - a welcome throwback to the old NYT Sunday puzzles!
This was much too easy for a Sunday puzzle, IMO.
Really hard! I love it! It would help if just one or two clues were a little less cryptic, just to offer a way in. But overall, good stuff!
The theme is very clever, but some of the cluing was pretty tortured. Well done, nonetheless.
Sometimes it seems like the more elaborate the theme is, the easier the clues get. This was the case today - thought it was fun, but a little too easy for a Sunday.
Very nice! Clever twist, well clued. Loved it!
I really wish Sunday puzzles would go back to being difficult. The last few weeks especially have been so easy that they're not very rewarding.
