@Mango I guess what is niche for one can be an entire world for others.
@JP Could not agree more. This new format, clearly designed for a phone app, does NOT work for the web browser, for folks that use actual physical keyboards, and for folks that actually want to concentrate on the puzzle and a particular clue as opposed to this cluttered, overly-busy interface that wastes at least a third of the screen space on a useless on screen keyboard. If this isn't fixed I will be looking for some other source for online crosswords.
@LynRHaving the same problem. Everything is in the correct place, even typed in the correct letters for the images but it still says something is wrong.
@Ellen Well, I won't stop doing crosswords but I will start doing them somewhere other than the Times. This is an absolutely brain dead decision from the Times.
@John Usually do these on my laptop but tried on my phone and still not getting acknowledgement that I've got everything correct. Annoying if this costs me my streak.
