Loved the puzzle! Little circles helped me remember what goes UP must come DOWN, and at the same time... Love your puzzle, which contains your initials... Long-time solver, first time poster...

Woo-hoo! I got this one! Took a while, but figured all the tricks, found phrases, filled circles, had fun! Although on my phone, the scissors were faint and the light parts "implied" that letters were missing. ONCE I got that, cruised home and thought I'd try my hand at commenting. 😊 Greetings, all!

@Cherry Ronson hangs around in the video, wrote the song, then got one of the world's best entertainers to perform it! I knew the album name because I have it -- and several earlier ones as well -- because he's one of the most talented rock/pop/jazz performers to show up this century. See his duet with Gaga that just won a VMA and Grammy, but even more, his video from the Apollo where his whole crew dances wonderfully. He's

What fun! I was so on Aimee's wavelength, I got my first Thursday rather quickly. I usually go for some clues, then retreat to the Archives. Gold star, QED.

@John Daly, Washington DC Not even when you press the letter "I" next to the pencil in the puzzle's heading? It's my first move on Sundays....

@MorningLight Agreed! And when I absolutely must have a difficult puzzle, I jump right into the app Archives, about 10 or 12 years ago (though I started solving with Mom in the 60s). Different constructors, different clues, different mindset, different movie and book history.... Fun for a change. Actually it made me wonder if we solvers have more history than the constructors. Greater time frame, more words and names.
