I don’t get the two interjections in OMAHA. O! MAHA! or OM! AHA! or OMA! HA! None of these make sense.

I almost gave up then made some breakthroughs (SCREAMQUEEN, GOESNUCLEAR). But then it got tricky again. I really didn’t like HOLIER for the two Medinas. Would have preferred “Swiss cheese vs cheddar”. Now that’s fun!

I am honestly surprised at the phrase “speaks ones piece”. I was convinced it was flat out wrong. I’ve only ever heard of “speaking one’s peace”. So I had to google it and I guess “today I learned…”.

After spending more than 1.5 hours on this puzzle, I got undone by the northeast corner. La petite Therese? Still don’t get it. Is it STE for Saint Therese? Throws hands up.

Wow first Monday in a long time I didn’t breeze through. Got done in by the NW corner. I hate summer/winter time clues. I don’t know what they’re called, I just adjust my watch and and get on with it.

Things were going quite swimmingly for about half the puzzle. Then I got some spots where nothing made sense and I couldn’t solve for hide nor hair. Got super frustrated and threw my hands in the air on this one. Gah!

It’s one of those puzzles where you’re either on the same wavelength as the constructor or you’re not. It was the latter for me today. The trivia was completely not in my orbit, so I eventually gave up. Not fun when this happens, but o well. Perhaps the next one will be better. This puzzle was not for me.

Mostly OK, but challenging. Got beaten by things I’ve never heard of in my half century on earth: FAIRISLESWEATER ARMAGEDDONCHESS (and I am an avid chess player) And even with _OWN I was still stumped by ‘Gown go-with’. Is it ‘Town Gown’? ‘Gown Town’? They just rhyme? Still no idea.

I don't know, I didn't enjoy this one. Maybe I was impatient but the solutions just weren't coming. Scolding = REPROOF? Never heard of that. Also US sports and biblical references. My kryptonite. So annoying. Anyway, hope others had fun.

Sometimes you’re going along nicely and you think you’re going to do it today. Then you encounter just totally opaque clues. SEND = ELATE? Baby you send me? I guess. I suppose it’s the point, but I hate just being so totally stumped sometimes. It’s annoying.
