@Nick Probably a typo? I find when filling online that I often type over a correct answer with the beginning of a subsequent answer; perhaps you did the same?

@Leontion. Not just you - I didn’t want to brother with the lookups, and for the first time ever just left the mini undone.

@sonnel I, too, was an American in France, and I vividly remember seeing sauce Amoricaine on a menu. I ordered it, and liked it, but have no recollection of the unfamiliar taste. I also remember wondering if they thought the sauce was American? Have never seen it here, although I used to see quenelles on the menu at classic French restaurants in NYC ; those restaurants aren’t fashionable any more. Initially, I entered it in the puzzle, but had to change it as I got to the downs. (For those unfamiliar, quenelles always reminded me of very refined gefilte fish!)

@SBK Oddly, I only had to over type one of the dancers when it suddenly told me the puzzle was complete.
