I may be reading too many fairy tales lately, but my first thought on seeing the grid was a giant beanstalk.

Late to the comments, but very much enjoyed the Jeopardy! theme. So cleverly done. Jeopardy! has been important to my family since I was in junior high and could go home for lunch and watch the Art Fleming/Don Pardo years. Almost 40 years ago, I was lucky enough to be at a contestant test where Alex himself appeared and called out the names of those who passed the WRITTEN test. He then walked out to each and shook our hands. Unfortunately I was forced to wash that hand since. We still watch religiously and, while we miss and mourn Alex, I think Ken is doing an excellent job and keeping Alex in our minds and hearts. Ken is even making the contestant interviews pleasant to watch. WHAT DO YOU SAY? Thank you.

Speaking as the mother of a Villanova alumnus and crazy Nova fan, perhaps SUPERNOVAE refers to the Pope who is a graduate of Villanova and has the same degree as my son! And it's Latin, to boot.

I was struck by the inclusion of both LOTS and LOT, so much so that I kept looking to see where I erred.

I am struggling. I love the theme, but find FOLLICLE and NAUTICAL just don't do it justice and that's kinda ruining it for me. It does still cause me to make more, so in that success it is a success. Man's funny outfit? HYSTERICALDRESSING

Lots of mergers, but no acquisitions of any chuckles. I so wanted punny answers reflecting each company's business.

Cute, but putting table back to the upright position does not necessarily mean that one could not continue to solve (or try to solve).

@VaerThanks for the memory. Great movie, cast, and soundtrack. Favorite scene: Breakfast with the boxes of running shoes fading to each house guest, with Jeff Goldblum as the last to appear and he asks if he is the first one up. Favorite line: Nobody said it was gonna be easy, at least no one ever said it to me.

@Lewis Your comment almost made it worthwhile, but I must know -- with or without raisins?

@David Reiffel Sounds perfect, especially for the BOWL (as in Liife is Just a ...)!

As I see the dice rolling through the grid, there are rolls of 3,6,2,1,5, and 4, in that order. Does the order have any significance (other than the fact that all six possibilities are accounted for)? What about the other letters on the domino? Have they no connection to the theme? Usually Wednesdays don't leave me wanting more.
