I was really baffled by 31 down , then realised the clue was “Stitchers gathering” and not “Snitchers gathering “ Dyslexics of the world Untie!

Good puzzle today, especially as I’m a Manchester United fan , however traditionally Man U is not used by fans as it originally was a slur by opposing fans e.g. “ Man , U are …..(insert word of choice) I believe it started soon after The Munich air disaster which claimed the lives of many players, staff and others. A United fan would shorten the name to Man Utd, however it is in common use among the general Soccer community but Not us diehards .
