Time to say goodbye to my 2000 crossword streak. I’m lucky enough to have an employer who appreciates my work and treats me with respect and consideration. I want the tech workers who make the start to my day so much more enjoyable to have decent working conditions too.

I loved this puzzle - congratulations! It was a fun solve, although I do agree with those who suggest that various combinations of the rebus should be accepted.

@Nora perhaps swat sounds like a rather ineffectual way to hit a cricket ball. Can’t imagine that it would be used to describe how a baseball bat is used.
