The constructor in his note about the puzzle discusses using software to assemble it. This puzzle and too many others lack the touch of thoughtful creativity. If constructors use software, is the expectation for solvers to do as well? Solving a puzzle should be fun rather than a drab, rote activity put forth by a machine, using which diminishes creators’ and solvers’ capacity to think.
