Mostly a good puzzle but the middle gave me trouble. It’s meep meep, I know this because I watched the show.

I got to a section with numbers and gave up, please keep these stupid gimmicks to Thursday. Why do all of these NYT puzzle authors have to prove how clever they are instead of creating interesting puzzles?

Boring theme, adding ‘y’ to the end of word to make up phrases makes for an uninteresting puzzle. Gave up halfway due to ridiculous thematic answers.

Boy that constructor sure is clever, I guess… Not my cup of tea.

Great puzzle! I figured out the EYE rebus without needing to read the puzzle info, which is a sign of a well thought out design. This was a very pleasurable solve, clever without being opaque, I hope to see more from these authors in the future.
