Any puzzle with both Gilbert O’Sullivan and Gilbert and Sullivan clues is alright with me.

I enjoyed the puzzle but the colors were very jarring. I wish that the app would give clue number and direction.

This puzzle had a cute theme. Thanks, Beatles, for giving me 1D.

“Ain’t how it should be” (67A) was my favorite clue today. 57D, otoh, made me feel old.

This was a toughie. I had never heard of the 21A, 22A, 38A, and 2D answers. Then, there were the layered full-line across clues (1A, 16A, 17A, 54A, 57A, and 58A). This puzzle took time and patience. I love 51D!

I had to depend upon the cross words for 1A and 41D. I’ve seen neither Friends nor The Office. I guess that I need to watch more TV - not. Today’s theme was muy bien, though 62D was my favorite clue.

I had to use the crosses to get 41 down. I understand where the word came from but I had never heard it before (showing my age).

@MmmmHmm I’m beginning to sour on Connections, too. I hated the graphical one from the other day.

I solved the puzzle but it took me way too long to make sense of the now obvious 51A answer. Oh well.

@Eric R. I think that it spans Niger as well. See <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_Chad?wprov=sfti1" target="_blank">https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_Chad?wprov=sfti1</a>#.
