i must be conditioned by NYT crossword because i was too clever for my own good. Left in? I thought the answer was "indented" - get it? because when you indent text, you move it in from the left. oy. good puzzle though - enjoyed very much! needed to look up one in the top left quadrant, which is embarrassing.

i thought - this is really hard for a sunday. but the fact it was a sunday made me persevere, no look-ups, because of course a sunday should be something i can handily do. then i realized it's saturday! i woke up way too early, and clearly i'm not fully awake! good puzzle though.

okay, i just wanna say... i thought the figures were the letters and didn't realize i had to add the letter on top of the figure as an overlay. and so i'm trying to figure out what i got wrong forever.. answer, i got nothing wrong. having a graphic in a square that signifies a letter is hella confusing in terms of needing to put a letter on top of it. grrr. waste of time.

so many good cues! ha ha. fun.

is anyone else having a "bug" with the computer on this today. it said i finished it last night. gold star. every square is filled, and the timer's stopped. but it shows up as if it's incomplete in the graphic now. even if i try to re-complete it, it's stuck / nothing happens. i don't really care - i gave up the streak idea when i had an issue with my account when i traveled (lost my streak because of nothing related to solving, even after going back and forth with help desk, sour grapes). ??

trying to report a bug - it sends me to mail program my email's not linked to. i'm on a streak. last night after midnight i completed the nov 11 puzzle. it turned gold. success. this morning, it's blue with a hole in the middle. i open it. everything's complete - same as last night. i have restarted my computer. i also tried to delete a letter and retype it, and it won't let me. so clearly there's a bug. this will be 2nd time i lose my streak to a technical problem with nyt... sigh.
