If you didn't know BURN SAGE. go to a powwow and learn all about it. It's for purification. You can do your own smudging. I grow my own sage for it. Sage is a perennial. It grows back every year.
Is there anyone out there who can explain to me what that photo is all about?
@Chungclan---- A great memory! Elston Howard --- Now he belongs to the ages!
Probably if this puzzle had appeared on a Friday, rather than a Wednesday, there would be less complaints.
@Solver---- "First time for everything."
It was very enjoyable to me, while working on this puzzle, when the important parts would light up in yellow! That added much pizzazz and fun!
@Joe----- You can never know too much about flowers! From Sandi in NJ, the Garden State. π·πΌπ
It was nice when the important boxes lit up in bright yellow, adding pzazz to the presentation.
@Oasis --- Such is the way of dogsπβπ¦Ί and why we love them so much.
@gen z maddy----Ute, a Native American tribe for which Utah is named.
@97Bravo---- COO is about birds. Think of the CUCKOO.
@97Bravo----- about "bill and coo" just picture two love birds.
@Grant--- THANKS...VERY INTERESTING COMMENT. I ALWAYS WONDERED ABOUT THAT.
@Patrick---- You can look this up on both Google and Wikipedia. There you will find everything you need to know.
@Charlie Fuchs----Just think of it as another word for "donkey."
@Helen Wright------This puzzle is a US based product so of course it has US based vocabulary. What else would you expect?
@Andrzej ---- Pentatonic scale -- That is all the black keys on your piano. You can play songs with just those alone. They were used by early musicians before the other notes were discovered. You can hear them in Hebrew prayer songs.
@Andrzej----Maybe it is time to expand your horizons. Learn to play a musical instrument. Your life will never be the same.
@Lynn---The plant I use here in New Jersey for sage is call "artemisia." This is the closest I can get to the sagebrush of the southwest. There the soil is so dry; I had to see it to believe it. Artemisia has gray-green leaves. It grows to about one foot high. When I rub it, it gives off the same smell that goes with powwows. There used to be two powwows here in my area, but no more. In the moonlight the leaves appear white like in the song, "There's Silver On the Sage Tonight."
@Lynn--- Another good thing about artemisia is that the deer don't touch it!
@Grant-----Thamks....but very weird.
