Having just explained DOGE to my mother, who asked me if I was referring to the Venetian DOGES, I found that entry particularly timely and a wee bit snarky. Gotta get our kicks somewhere, I suppose.

Had to peek at a couple of answers today, but solved enough on my own to feel pretty good about it! What a fun puzzle - I particularly liked NOVOCAINE AND TOUR GUIDES, and plan to impress my history teacher husband by bringing up China’s SALT TAX over dinner.
What a delightful puzzle! The fresh and clever flying would have made it one of my favorites of the year; the theme and the reveal put it at the top of my list. Thanks to the creator, and really looking forward to tomorrow!
Loved this clever and challenging puzzle from a constructor who obviously understands that Pepsi is NOT okay! That and IMNOTAROBOT delighted me.
Really enjoyed this! Challenging but fun. The hardest bit for me was the middle right side. 40 across (*baby talk) really stumped me, even once I had figured out the theme. Of course it’s obvious now that I know the answer - feeling a bit silly about it.

@Amy I was wondering if any other KATES would easily hit on COWSHED because of a familiarity with that song. My mother often sang it to me when I was young.
