i think this was the first sunday puzzle i did without using the wordplay column! i had a lot of fun with it, especially the theme. i loved the theme answers. great job!
very much enjoyed figuring out "not in English", thank you.
i dunno about that "Choctaw" clue. maybe i'm being too sensitive but it seems a little dicey
wow, that was a tough one! (for me) but straightforward and fun. i really love the super long answers, they're such an aha moment when you get them and they reveal a lot of other words. thanks for the extra clues in the constructor notes, very much appreciated!
i unfortunately was not able to solve this one without checking my answers, but holy moly! i can definitely appreciate the work that went into this one. loved the theme!
wow, what a puzzle! i absolutely loved this one, especially the moment where i said "ohhhhhh, a PICKLE! of course!" this must have been very difficult to put together. my compliments to the crossword chef!
@Dan i'm working on a puzzle with a fun new theme! only one of the words is real and the rest of the clues are non-sequiturs for gibberish answers. i had no idea crossword puzzle-making could be so easy if you take away the handicap of only using real words!
it's usually my favorite day of the week for these, but this tuesday was fantastic. thank you for the puzzle!
what an absolute delight! sunday puzzles are often too hard for me to get without checking my puzzle, but this one was perfectly my speed and the reveal at the end was the cherry– or should i say, apple– on top.
nonsensical theme clue and the rebuses don't even work. thanks for kind of trying, Brandon
you need a place where i can complain about Connections. there are obviously some pretty massive leaps in logic if almost nobody is able to complete the puzzle. only the yellow set made any sense at all.
good stuff! i find mondays to be a nice treat after the weekend puzzles.
i refuse to fill in the last clue on the midi. AI slop is not art
sunday puzzles are really intimidating but this one was a lot of fun for me. fantastic stuff!
i don't know where else i'm supposed to complain about this, but the 5 for 5 Wordle achievement used to say "PLAY Wordle on all 5 days" but was changed to "successfully complete all 5 puzzles" after Friday when it was a fake word (EMOJI). i didn't even think EMOJI was in the Wordle dictionary! is anyone else upset about this? i feel like i was robbed of a one time achievement.
the answer to 52 across should be STOLEN
@Tony are you insinuating that this is a poorly thought-out puzzle??? i'm shocked!
