I was so damn close to finishing a Sunday crossword without assistance… about 80% this time… what a genuinely GREAT puzzle.

This is my first Friday crossword gold star! Took me a little under an hour (as in 59 minutes). I enjoyed this grid very much!

STAIDLY and STATELY both fitting that one clue is criminal!!! Great puzzle - this is the furthest I've ever gotten in a Saturday puzzle without autocheck (about 75% the way through). Enjoying my progress in NYT crosswords!

A great Monday puzzle! A joy after my sobering awakening from yesterday.

Clever puzzle that was deeply and resoundingly enjoyable! Bravo.

I love when I have to "check" on a puzzle, but I still derive enjoyment from seeing what I missed and how the puzzle comes together. Very fun and enjoyable.

A “County Denegal” referencing clue whose answer is not ENYA? Woah! Truthfully this is what held up my grid for a slower 22 minutes… Enjoyable puzzle!

Very brutal puzzle for me that I had to auto check and soon reveal. But: VACANTLOT got a good laugh out of me

Great puzzle, and I laughed out loud at “dank” and “deep fried” for memes and how dated they admittedly are…

Was stuck on SW for a good second when I thought that a "blushing matter" was a ROUSE and not a ROUGE... Fun puzzle

Originally had “It’s not a main part of the action” as a SIDEBAR instead of the correct SIDEBET. I feel as though the former more aptly fits? Nevertheless, I loved the puzzle!

What kind of a name is LON? I really appreciated how thoughtful this puzzle was. It was admittedly a slog, though, and I didn't enjoy it as thoroughly as I usually do. Great construction... but I personally would have benefitted from different clues for certain words.

Am I the only one that got really tripped up with “ARAL”? I was trying to find my mistake for nearly 20 minutes, which turned out to be the errant “URAL”…

Today I found out that Dodge is a proper noun in the idiom… Also, I’m a little suspect of “Sweeney Todd subject” being clued as the plural PIES, but nevertheless I loved the puzzle. Made it 80% without auto check… proud of my progress!

Great theme and I loved the execution. NIKE being clued as “Personification of victory” is a little dubious imo…

I feel as though HOPS more aptly fits 22A than UPS... at least for me Fun grid.
