Holy moly, my quickest Sunday time EVER - 14:25!!! I usually aim for sub 30 mins but apparently this puzzle really ticked my boxes!
@Hardroch I live in the UK and ‘cow shed’ is a very common phrase here - was surprised to see it’s not the same everywhere!
This felt insanely tricky to crack into, but I solved bang-on my average time - so it can’t have been too bad! Greatly enjoyed LATTEART once it clicked but I did have mATThEART for far too long…
I don’t care if it was too easy - I completed a Sunday in THIRTEEN MINUTES today. This high is gonna keep my afloat all week long!
Gosh I do wish the iPhone app had done this theme justice, because once I read the column I just loved it! As noted by another commenter, I approach Thursdays with an open mind and hope that at some point the theme will become clear; often relying on crossings to get to the big reveal. Unfortunately that didn’t fall into place for me today, but what great fun anyway.
@Jairus I think you maaaay be confusing ‘beau’ becoming ‘bel’ ahead of ami - ‘petite amie’ is definitely correct French!
