NAVAHO is incorrect. I do not need to make any other comment.
Congrats Tarun, excellent puzzle with a few surprises I enjoyed very much.
Bygone initials at JFK? sheesh, what a reach to SST, the mode of transport, not the airline nor the plane itself, the Concorde.
@Michael That there is funny if you EVER had to deal with LISP. I had blocked out all of those hours debugging with that horror show of a language!
@Plastic Jones Good comment, I was misled thinking of re-tire and that PIT was not a good answer since the car is still resting on the tires when you drive the car over a pit. I grew up in a garage so I let that mislead my head. A great puzzle today.
Yeah, seriously, The Books of Tang.....
@Bruce Yessir, I recall the Beany and Cecil cartoons and wanted one of those propeller hats!
@Plastic Jones - I agree with you, in that momentum is a vector quantity because it includes mass and momentum. Inertia can be static or involve movement. But if it is already "going" as the clue stated, it implies velocity and thus momentum.
@Grant Matchbox also made DB5 models, not sure they had an ejection seat or not. I was thinking I had one, but I realized later that I had the scale model you built yourself, after getting the Matchbox and finding no seat ejection.
@Helen Wright You asked a great question, regarding DVR, as that is not a typical smart TV feature, and almost always required an external storage device, so I (over 20 years in TV tech) saw what she wanted the answer to be however wrong and obscure a DVR on a smart TV is. Many other clues that I did not agree with, already listed in previous comments.
@Kevin I agree completely, and I only joined in the fun recently, so when I get through the daily puzzle I usually go back in the archives and find another challenge. A month ago, I was spending way more time trying to figure out Saturday puzzles, as well as the Thursday tricksters. Today's Friday is like last Friday; similarly difficult but not a brain buster.
