@Jenny You should have a look at @ChrisRemo on YouTube. He’s fantastic and breaking down how he does the crossword each day. https://youtube.com/@chrisremo?si=06lleAihI5pmt7P0
A fine puzzle to ring in this fabulous New Year! If only it were a little harder, but alas, I will have to wait for tomorrow (as I always do (I LOVE Friday and Saturday grids)). I doff my hat at the constructor, and would gladly cover their TAB if I ever were to see them at a bar while I give them my thorough EVAL of their lovely and most succulent puzzle!
Relatively easy, but not very fun.
Very fun little Friday. While not too hard, terribly enjoyable.
@Lauren you should take the weekend to watch them, at least The Shining!!
Such fun for a sunny Australian afternoon. A new PB of 13 minutes for me, a real EGOBOOSTER for me today. Congratulations Spencer on a terrifically fun Friday puzzle.
I’ve never heard of the revealer, but that could because I’m Australian. Fun crossword, the SE corner really got me for a while, slightly odd fill, but nice for a Wednesday nonetheless.
@Alex can’t agree enough. 25a was such a lovely little brain tickle when it fell into place.
@Andrzej For me it always brings to mind the song “Odessa” by Charley Crockett.
Can someone eli5 23D?
@Jeff B M very insightful hahah, no beef! What a riot, let us not beef over the cleverness of this joke haha hehe
What is the connection with the letters in the rebus? Are there any, or are they just random??
