Got the trick easily enough, but found the top 1/4 a slog. Ironically, I was thinking of a different type of Mensa, which I certainly won’t be joining. 7 across eluded me so thoroughly I googled it once the puzzle was completed, only to realize I’m a bit of an umbass-day.
