Billy Bragg, the English folkie, used to mention at his gigs various mishearings of his lyrics. I rather liked 'she's still got my donkey' instead of 'she's still got my door key' and 'a reggae band they called the Diggers' instead of 'a ragged band they called the Diggers.' It'd be a great name for a reggae band!
