Fun puzzle! Also, it gave a badly needed ego boost as Monday and Tuesday this week were tougher than normal solves for me.

@Red Carpet Maybe. But I had a tough time with Monday’s and Tuesday’s puzzles. To me, today’s puzzle was a bit like airing The Wheel after Jeopardy. Much appreciated.

Am I the only one who thought 56 down was CaKE pop? CHaPSTICK looked so nice at 60 across and (to my mind) fit the clue nicely. I ended up peeking at the answer so I could get the happy completion music. I hate cheating on a Wednesday. Nobody to blame but soda drinking Philadelphians I guess

@Joya I’ve raised five children and I’m not sure what’s more embarrassing to me - that Happy Meals made up a large portion of my children’s diets, or that I never noticed the McNuggets come in shapes!

For me, this was a tough Wednesday - 3:12 slower than my average. But still, too easy for a Thursday. Lots of cRAYcRAY hate here in the comments but that clue was my lightbulb moment - Ah! It’s a rebus!

@Dan How about chap as a verb? As in “Don’t forget your lip balm. This wind will chap your lips!”
