I just hope all the folks who routinely complain about new terms and pop culture and stuff that they're too old for are also complaining about how narrow and esoteric it is to know who Keiron Moore is and what character he played in 1951...
@Oscar Pansy "Mercury in retrograde" is an astrological term commonly used when things go wrong in your life.
The puzzle was fine, but I bristle at the idea that anything Dall-E or any of these other scraper/regurgitators create is "art" of any sort.
Yeah sorry, I don't mind rebuses, but they have to be elegantly done and delightful to solve. This was clunky and the pattern of IE or EI was inconsistent and chaotic, which led me to spend more time figuring out the exact order of the rebus entries required than I spent solving the actual puzzle. If you're gonna do a rebus, make it consistent across the board and don't cite "well we are always confused about IE or EI" as a reason your puzzle doesn't have consistent wordplay.
@LinRP especially in Zoom - you chat someone, or if it's private, you DM them.
@Steve L That is literally how I justified the clue.
@Mean Old Lady Frank Oz was most recently seen in human form as the lawyer in Knives Out who comes in and announces that everything is going to Marta.
