@Shanghai Lil The linked clue, NICKELBACK, implied the five needed to be read backwards to get TR(EVIF)OUNTAIN.
Loved this puzzle! Growing up we did not watch tv except when the Olympics were on, so I have a soft spot for the games as they bring back wonderful memories. I did have to take a few extra seconds to make sure I knew where my selected square was, but it really wasn’t too bad. I can see how this would have been more difficult for some, however. But the creative of this puzzle is commendable! Can’t wait to see what’s next from this creator. A from me.
I loved this puzzle! I had PONZISCHEME and EXPONENTS, but could not figure out what the modification was with the clues to make them work. Even after solving for RIPPEDABS I scratched my head for a bit, but it was a very satisfying aha! moment. This was a perfect Thursday for me. Great debut and I hope to see more from Rajeswari in the future!
I was today years old when I learned it’s razor STROP, not STRAP. Ope.
@HeathieJ Michigan! It's been 14 years since I moved away but there are some things that are eternal, like ope.
@Sasha PNW hello from your southern neighbor in Shoreline!
