Mods are client side changes to a program almost always made by fans or users. For games it is uncommon for them to be cosmetic only, and rarely official as suggested by 18A.
So, "Goon Trial" does not refer to what you'd think it does amongst younger folk. Goon is a verb nowadays, and please do not use it around any Gen z or Alpha's in your life.
Rebus' are crutches for puzzle designers who do not know how to construct the puzzle with the theme they desire.
I see this puzzle maker is unable to make their theme fit. What with the use of a rebus and all.
@YooperJake I mean, I guess? There are some mods which are just cosmetics like this. But if it was made by the actual company then they are typically referred to as "skins" or "cosmetics". Mods are almost always made by fans and are unofficial.
@Sarah Thomas Mods are real, they do not refer to cosmetics or official content as 18A suggests.
So not only does this puzzle maker not know how to make a puzzle that fits their theme, as evidenced by the inclusion of a rebus, they also specifically reference a fragment of pottery, which has a specific name, "sherd" while the puzzle itself demands you put shard. This is not only wrong, but could have been easily corrected by simply *not calling it a pottery fragment*. Truly terrible.
