It always tickles me seeing other commenters complain about more contemporary clues. As a member of Gen Z, it’s nice to have occasional the upper hand. At least you’re around for SADIE’s performances in Stranger Things (and the music video for “All Too Well” 10-Minute Taylor’s Version, which was [arguable] TRIPLE THREAT Taylor Swift’s directorial debut). I wasn’t alive for a good deal of the political and cultural references made regularly by these puzzles but it’s a good opportunity to learn!

a very fast Thursday for me (15 min faster than usual) but still felt challenging. the northwest corner was the difficult spot that had me tapping around before finally remembering STAN, which helped everything else come together. AODAI, by the way, is a very common and beautiful attire, glad this puzzle introduced many people to it!

with this many themes it strikes me as more of a Thursday despite being decently easy—Betsy tripped me up though, I was so sure it was Betty and didn’t know better for the Genesis grandson
