Surprised to see so much positive commentary today. That was brutal for me. Very frustrating. Even after getting the revealer, I couldn’t grasp how to apply it to the theme answers, and a lot of the other clues were not on my wavelength. Not a good performance for me today!

Monday to Wednesday this week have been bangers! Can’t wait to see what’s coming UP/DOWN the pipeline.

I’ve seen it clued like this before, but I must say: Penny Nickel Dime Quarter Loonie Toonie There’s nothing ‘informal’ about it. That is what it’s called. Toonie is the only and official word for this coin. When the toonie was launched and the name revealed, there was a collective ‘seriously?’ vibe in Canada. But they were serious. And here we are, years later, still only using this term.
