Clever theme well executed. Kudos to the constructor.
SERE / ENNEADS is a tough crossing for a Tuesday.
Impressive and enjoyable puzzle.
“Feature of gathering clouds” is such a stupid clue. Otherwise good puzzle.
“Judge of diamond value” is such a good clue
ALEPH and ENOCH is a tough crossing for a Tuesday.
Fastest Thursday ever for me, in about one-third my average time. I enjoyed the puzzle, but it should have been on a Tuesday IMO.
@Weak The puzzle has been out for less than 2 hours. Why not step away / sleep on it? Seemed like typical Wednesday difficulty to me. I’ll grant that RASP / TIA / PIU was a hard crossing.
I have never heard ON A PAR, but apparently it’s legit: <a href="https://english.stackexchange.com/questions/103664/on-par-with-vs-on-a-par-with" target="_blank">https://english.stackexchange.com/questions/103664/on-par-with-vs-on-a-par-with</a>
The clue for ENE was so much better than “opposite of WSW”
@Jon Onstot That is the sound a buzzer makes
Second time in recent memory with a ridiculous clue for AEIOU.
