Sure, it's easy to lament the K sisters. But maybe the best thing they'll ever do is lend their names to a fun Wednesday puzzle. Mission accomplished.
@Rob check out the logo for the 3-IN-ONE line of lubricants. I've got several of their products on my workbench right now. :)
I can never remember where the c's and s's go (wait, is there an s?) in license ... or is it licence? That hurt me today. By tomorrow, I'll have forgotten again.
Wow. As this started to click for me, I was thinking " no way ... he's not going to? ... oh yes he is!". An amazing feat of construction. Well done Mr. Seigel.
Loved this one. Lots of smiles. Was stuck at the top left and 15A for the longest time, even though 15A was in fact my first job too!
A fun and enjoyable Monday. There is a town in north Ontario ... called Wawa. Famous (sort of) for their giant goose. Probably too obscure for a Monday, but maybe it will make the cut someday!
What a great start to the week. Baseball fever is ramping up around here. Go Jays!
13D made me smile out loud. Yes, I can do that. A lovely way to clue Yoko, and a very enjoyable Monday puzzle.
@Suzanne yep, I initially thought the same thing. But the clue was Franklin "of" Motown. Aretha lived in Detroit (aka Motown) for many years, and is certainly associated with that city more than any other.
@jennie I'm old enough to remember when the Brewers were in the AL East. It still feels odd to me that they are in the NL now!
@Hardroch thank you for the great info. I knew there was a newish goose, but assumed it was goose #2. Now I know the whole story!
Stanley Cup clue is my favorite of the year so far! Yes I know, the cup actually crosses the border every summer when winning players bring it to their hometowns for a day, but of course that's not what the clue is getting at. Go Oilers!
