A nice change that the Grande Opening was not Ari 🙂
Percolated… SEEPED and not STEEPED?
There was no way I would have gotten VIAND. And I speak French 🤷🏻♀️
I got a high when I finally resolved the trick 🙂
A few stretches here I think. UMHI? Um. No. BRAH? More like Bruh. But even then. :/ Still enjoyed the puzzle but this seemed a little lazy for an NYT Crossword. 🤷🏻♀️
I loved this. Don’t know why there is always so much 44-acrossing all the time. I think we’re all smart enough to know how sometimes you have to bend a little to make it all work. Ooopsy, upsy, upsa…. Did it really stop anyone from completing the puzzle? Some people might even say upsa (pssst, it’s not even a real word) That said…. When will an apple just be a fruit again? 😋
A genuine “aha” puzzle. I knew it was Simon Cowell but it just didn’t fit! 1 across I had PEA (snap). But somehow I didn’t think NYT would accept A-HOLER. 😜 I loved it!
@Ed I thought it was clever personally. I’m Canadian and I say zed when spelling a word but zee when reciting the alphabet.🤷🏻♀️
So good!! The theme took a while but those are the best! Had Queen BEeS for so long and just couldn’t understand eARINGRESQQ. Then D’oh 🤦🏻♀️
Can we please not. I love a good Sunday rebus puzzle :)
Si Si was a bit of lazy clueing imho
Apart from PASEO/OCTILLION I loved this!
HEN/INN almost did me in. It was a try every letter until you hit gold situation.
British “facilities” is always LOO……except today. 😫
pOO/pRO BOO/BRO were my undoing
There’s a sense of pride when I get a Friday:)
@Nick Did exactly the same thing Nick but got the aha moment when I reached the zee. Or was it the zed?
How many of us looked up the FedEx logo?
To me tootsies have always been toes 🤷🏻♀️
Really enjoyed this but can someone explain “IMED” for Slacked?
@Barry Ancona Maybe she’s an atheist?
So… this is not me complaining but how are cattle calls LOWS? And hypn…? A bit of a stretch, no? And lastly, I hope those who had rain on their wedding days aren’t too disheartened! Okay, so I guess I did complain a bit. 😋 Still…always love the NYT crosswords just the same 🙂
How is SRO a sign for cheap admission? 🤔
@Anonymous for me NOTDO was a bit of a stretch 😛
@Joe. For me it was the mother-in-law and Terry’sChocolate Orange. 🙂
@Mean Old Lady. Raspberries here 🫤
@Grant. Weird that it wouldn’t be INSPI 🤷🏻♀️
@Kelp My problem with Kayo is either you spell them both out KayOh…. or neither KO That one bugged me 🤷🏻♀️
@Steve L All this time I thought it Meant “Sold Right Out”. 🤦🏻♀️
I looked up the logo before finishing the puzzle. I should have been more clear in my question.
@Allan I took it to mean at least one of everything
@Marty. I had FULLBARS then FOURBARS because I had FURNACE for the cross until that didn’t work anymore 🫤
@Steve L I knew it was MARY right away 🤷🏻♀️
Always thought it was Ray Croc not Kroc 🤷🏻♀️
That southwest corner was my undoing! :(
@Dave I’m with you. To me CRABS is something that requires ointment 🤷🏻♀️
@Lars. I can’t find the link. Can someone post it again here?
