Very frustrating and difficult puzzle if you're like me and haven't seen a single movie in the themed clues and had to rely on nothing but crossers. Oh well, better luck next Thursday for my sheltered self :) (p.s. this is not a criticism of the puzzle rather a very me problem)

I consider a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday puzzle a success for me personally if I hit fewer than 10 lookups, just a fun little personal goal I have. I had 8 today so still achieved my goal, was just amused that I only had 2 until I hit the northwest corner which was SUCH a bear for me to break into! Cute theme and lovely Sunday, hope everyone has a wonderful day :)

Surprised how many people haven't heard of THE FLOOR IS LAVA! I'm 31 and most of my friends/peers around my age played this growing up (along with blanket forts!) always had a blast playing those!

@Heidi mocap is short for "motion capture" it's used a lot for CGI films and in many video games as well :)

I'm sure I'm gonna smack my forehead and say "duh" when someone explains it lol, but can some kind soul explain what TAPES for things often put into decks means? I'm still stumped on that one!

@James I have actually said "oho!" Out loud to people haha. I say it like "o-ho!!" (Though with my accent it sounds like "uh-ho") Though I usually say it more in the context of just a general exclamation than one of surprise specifically

@Joe in everyday life I'm not so sure, though it's definitely used frequently in the gaming communities I post on online (reddit) so maybe it's one of those niche terms!

@Anthony wholeheartedly agree. As a millennial we were using computers at school in the first grade already (shout-out to Oregon Trail and Maevis Beacon typing haha!) so I'd def say x/y were more the gens that grew up with the internet. Gen Z is more like the gen that grew up with smartphones/smart technology, as smartphones weren't really a thing until I was in high school/college.
